NEW SERIES 100 RUPEE NOTE WITH LETTER R

The Reserve Bank of India  shortly issue 100Rs denomination  Banknotes with '"R" inset letter incorporating  symbol, in the  Mahatma Gandhi Series-2005  bearing the  signature  of Dr. D. Subbarao, Governor , Reserve Bank of India, and  the year of printing on the reverse of the Banknote.

                                            The design of these notes to be issued now is similar in all respects to the Banknotes of `100 in Mahatma Gandhi Series-2005 issued earlier.

       * SIZE -147 X 33 mm & Wide security thread with RBI        
       * DENOMINATION - 100 in three places
       * LEGEND - Value rupees in Hindi at center
